About Lowery-Whitehead American Legion Post 29


Lowery-Whitehead American Legion Post 29 has been a part of Lawton, Oklahoma since 1920. Originally, the post was named Lowery American Legion Post 29, but in 1946 the name was changed and Whitehead was added to the post's name. We are Veterans helping Veterans, the Lawton-Fort Sill, Oklahoma community, and our city's youth.

Meetings
Lowery-Whitehead American Legion Post 29 hold its general membership meetings on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:30 PM La Felisitas 2102 NW Cache Road in Lawton, Ok (the corner of 21st Ave and Cache Road). Each meeting there is a 50/50 drawing. Tickets are one for $1 or six for $5. The winning ticket receives half the money in the pot and the remaining half raises funds to finance post activities.
